Irina Miro Designs Jewellery Care Guide
Beaded jewelry is too beautiful to allow it to be damaged.
Below are several helpful tips to help keep your beaded jewelry beautiful for years.
To keep your jewelry clean you can wipe beaded parts, stones, pearls and silver with a soft cloth after each wear to help prevent build up of creams, makeup and dust. I strongly advise do not immersing your jewelry in water. Never use harsh abrasives or cleaners, including chlorine, on your jewelry.
~ Try to store your jewelry separately so it doesn't scratch other jewelry.
(original packaging or plastic bags are wonderful for protecting jewelry pieces)
~ Jewelry should only be put on after washing and applying any makeup, hair spray, gels, lotions or perfume. Chemicals in make-up, creams, perfumes and hair products can harm your jewelry.
~ Try to protect any jewelry from harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures and sunlight.
~ Always try to store your beaded necklaces or bracelets flat.
~ You should not wear beaded jewelry while doing housework or outdoor chores.
~ Don't swim, bathe or wash up while wearing beaded jewelry. Water will always weaken the material your beads hang from, no matter what it is and this will eventually lead to deterioration.
~ Store your jewelry in a clean, dry place. Try not to get your beaded jewelry wet.
Most importantly, enjoy your jewelry!
